Intructions for full papers

Template and file type according to phase

The submission of full papers is performed by means of the OCS platform as well, employing the same username and password.

Unlike for the abstract submission, for the full paper submission a file uploading will be requested, and a template file must be used: DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE

  • When submitting your full paper for review a PDF file is recommended.
  • However, when uploading the final version to be published a Word file is recommended in order to facilitate the conference proceedings editing.

Blind peer review

When composing your full paper remember NOT to include names or affiliations of any of the authors or any other detail that might reveal your identity since the document must go through a double-blind peer review process. Should your full paper be accepted after this review process, you will be requested to upload a final version of the document which will include then the names and affiliations of all authors and the amendments suggested by reviewers if applicable.

Document framework

An adequate framework for a scientific document should include:

  1. Introduction (state of the question and outcomes concisely)
  2. Literature review (study of the intellectual context framing the topic addressed)
  3. Methodology (description of the relevant and critical approach employed)
  4. Discussion
  5. Conclusion
  6. References

An alternative framework if focused on extraction of knowledge from case studies should include:

  1. Introduction (scope of the analysis and purpose of the case study)
  2. Description of the case studies (study of the intellectual context framing the topic addressed)
  3. Methodology (description of the relevant and critical approach employed)
  4. Outcomes from comparative analysis or discussion of abstraction of extracted information from case study
  5. Conclusion
  6. References

Personal experiences and works are perfectly acceptable, but they must be tested, validated and accepted or abandoned based on results.

In any case, an intellectual outcome is expected from any full paper.
